Carn Marth
This photo was taken
from Carn Brea looking over towards Carn Marth. Note the ruins of
the engine houses. This area was very rich in both copper and tin
and the advent of steam power and the industrial revolution
sparked a massive increase in mining activity. Cornish miners
were to take their skills around the world.
