Three Goninans
our grandchildren, from left to right, Daisy Richards, Ruby Richards and Nathaniel Saunders, at St Mawes Castle overlooking Falmouth Bay. On the other side can be seen Pendennis Castle. Both fortifications were built by King Henry the 8th to protect the harbour from the French and the Spanish and miscellaneous pirates.
